Family Pharmacy 2013

Congratulations to Family Pharmacy, one of our Ozark Chamber Impact members! Readers of the Springfield News-Leader recently named Family Pharmacy as “Best of the Ozarks – Drug Store/Pharmacy.” Family Pharmacy has been an involved, integral part of Ozark and Southwest Missouri for decades and we congratulate them on this honor.

From a media release:

“Family Pharmacy was recently selected as the top choice by over 150,000 votes cast in the News-Leader‘s annual ‘Best of the Ozarks’ readers poll. This was a big week for transportation in Ozark! The City of Ozark and MODOT celebrated the opening of the new intersection on Wednesday, August 21 and traffic signal at Jackson & 3rd Street. Great safety improvement for Ozark and a successful cost-share project!

The much anticipated opening of the repaired Riverside Bridge was celebrated on Friday, August 23. The Ozark Special Road District handled the ribbon cutting duties. The citizens of Ozark and Christian County are glad to have the historic bridge (and needed access) open again!

Another tremendous turn-out for Showcase Ozark Business & Community Expo, held this Saturday, April 6 at The OC. The new Star Stage was a nice addition to the event which included fashion show and “booty makeovers” by Vault Denim, Cooking Fast & Healthy by Salad Master, and a Zumba Demonstration.

Kids and adults were lined up to see the Hands-On Reptile Exhibit, and many community members took advantage of the free document shredding by Shred-It! It is always great to see so many businesses connect with new customers at Showcase Ozark!
